  Overall it was an average stay. Our expectations were probably too high after reading all the wonderful reviews. First you will need a working phone to call the host when you arrive. There is a phone shop around the corner where you can purchase a SIM card, for about 8Euros that's what we did. The host was very pleasant and resolved small issue we had so I'm giving a higher rating because of that. The area were the flat is located is not the nicest, it all depends on you if you are into a graffiti and somewhat "punk" type of neighborhood this would be perfect for you. If you are looking for nice architecture and clean streets this would not work. It is safe though, we did not feel uncomfortable coming back home at night. One plus is that there is an organic store 2 streets down. The room in the apartment is fine, it was clean and we had no problems with it. However the bathroom and kitchen could use some refreshing. Don't expect to do any major cooking there as the kitchen is tiny and there is not enough kitchenware to do so. For breakfast it was fine. The bathroom is a little moldy but clean, the shower could use a different curtain because the one which was there didn't go all the way to the shower sink which results in a lot of water being spilled on the floor. That water then sits there it becomes mold. There was an internet with the laptop which was a nice touch and printed instructions about the area and apartment which were very useful.

  Nice spacious & clean studio apartment with all the things you need to feel at home, with supermarket very close by thats open late and bars and trains within easy reach. Lots of useful info and maps provided by host, and the wifi and laptop was handy for planning our days. The building is quite old, but has a reliable lift and is secure, the graffiti at the entrance is all part of the KBerg charm.. Host is easy to contact and is responsive and helpful. Recommend for your stay in Kreuzberg.

  This pretty studio apartment is a perfect base for exploring and had everything we needed. The laptop is a brilliant addition and so are the bikes. The bed was superbly comfortable and the flat was quiet so we slept very well. We had a little bit of difficulty getting the shower temperature to stay constant but really that is the only complaint I can even think of, and at least for someone used to London standards the shower was perfectly fine. Would recommend!

  Great location, comfortable, but not the smoothest experience... There were definitely a few bumps in the road as the host forgot we were arriving that evening so were stranded on the streets for an hour and had to wait for the host to makeshift clean the apartment. We did however greatly appreciate the host's fast-action remedy and honesty in wrong doing. Although not quite as fresh as the pictures portray, the studio's description is fairly accurate - minus the bathroom which is not newly renovated and has a bit of a mold problem going on.

  We enjoyed our stay in Berlin, which was, of course, too short... Thanks to the beautiful town, beautiful people and the stay in this nice studio, we are sure we'll be coming back... Nice city to explore by bike, Tempelhof was awesome !!

  Nice studio, very well located, near the best spots of Berlin. Having 2 bikes is the best to discover Berlin and hang around. The hosts are really nice, willing to share with you their love of the city and all the tips to take advantage of the city.

  Look no further- this place is amazing. The location in fantastic Kreuzberg is ideal- central, safe, near several train/ tube stops, markets, the canal and all other one could need.. such as supermarkets etc The apartment is really homely, we almost forgot we didn’t actually live there. Bikes and phones are also an ace addition (Berlin is a very cycle-friendly city..) Your hosts - Claudia and José- are super cool, friendly and really hospitable. They can offer all kinds of advice on what’s going on in Berlin- from music to art as well as other little fun things to do. Book it now…

  I had a great stay in Berlin at Studio Xxx. It's a nice place with cosy little bars and restaurants around the corner. The appartment is a real clean and quiet place with a cosy atmosphere. You find eyerything you need for your stay in Berlin. Even vouchers for free yoga lessons. Only the check-out was really early at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, because they had to clean up for the next guests. But I could leave my baggage until 1 p.m. If you are looking for a low cost stay in this beautiful city this place is great!

  fantastic place! stayed here for a few days earlier this month with my boyfriend, the apartment is incredibly well located and has everything you would want including information about what to do in the area, etc. Tim is very friendly and open. the included bikes are crucial! would definitely stay in studio xxx again.

  We loved staying in Kreuzberg and the room was simple and comfortable for us. This was our first time to ever stay somewhere through Airbnb so communication with the host was a little confusing. But the host team was flexible and we were able to work out the confusion about check-in. Jose was kind and gave us great recommendations for our time in Berlin. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this apartment.

  Nice studio, located in Kreuzberg, an area with a nice atmosphere. Only the entrance is terrible. First you have to enter a big dirty door covered with graffiti, then you have to go through a corridor before arriving in a kind of patio where you can see old arm chairs that are trown away, bicycles all over the place, garbage on the ground... Not such a nice impression, neither when you take the stairs to the second floor where the appartment is located. Dark and dirty staircase but... finally you enter the appartment and that is really a clean place with a cosy atmosphere. You will find a well equiped kitchen, a room with a nice double bed, covered with a very clean and fresh smelling feather bed, wooden floor and a (little) bathroom with very clean towels. Good shower with hot water. Wifi internet works perfectly. It is a silent place to sleep, no disturbing noise. And around the corner you find cosy bars and restaurants with multicultural influences!

  I booked literally last minute, and less than two hours later, José gave me a warm welcome and introduced me to the place. It is in a back building, quiet, comfortable and clean. Yet outside on the street, I found myself in one of the liveliest and most colorful areas of Berlin. Cool!

  The apartment is great. A good location, very close to the nearest bahn. Having access to two bike is amazing, the free wifi and use of a laptop was key, the price was super low considering the accommodations and the hosts were very informative and thorough. If you are looking for a simple, low costs stay in Berlin, this is it!

  Una estancia genial en Berlin. El apartamento en un barrio muy entre Gracia y el Borne (Barcelona) y el hecho de que nos facilitasen las bicis fue genial para conocer muchos rincones de Berlin. Nos trataron genial y nos facilitaron mucho la estancia aconsejandonos actividades para los 3 dias. El baño más pequeño de lo esperado pero limpio. Volveremos!

  The apartment had everything we needed, plus some uncommon extras: cell phones, bicycles, and bath robes! Nice, safe neighbourhood. Everything close by. hosts left a helpful info package for us. There was a change to our check-in time at the last minute, which was awkward for us. But it all worked out in the end.
