A propos de Jane
Mary dit,
“I have known about San Miguel from Jane for a very long time (years, in fact) and for the first time, this past April, I flew down there from Brooklyn NY and rented her house for the entire month! It was fantastic! First of all, her place is so central. You can walk everywhere (except you do have to get used to walking up and down hills!) Jane's place is modern, cool and a pure delight: easy to live there, entertain there and just be there. Two floors of open plan, white living space plus a roof top deck with great views -- two bathrooms. The good news is that the downstairs bedroom is always cool even on the hottest day. Plus, it's a hop, skip and a jump to one of my most favorite bars, La Sirena Gorda! Lovely neighborhood, everyone is so friendly -- you couldn't ask for more.”
A propos de Lena
Aysha dit,
“Lena and I met in San Miguel de Allende in January 2011 through mutual friends, and I have come to know her through her wonderful heartfelt work with Mariposas, a non-profit she founded that employs and supports rural women who sewing bags, hats and other colorful products that say "Imagine A World Without Violence". She is an accomplished fine artist and high-energy, upbeat woman, whose warmth attracts and nurtures many. Her home in San Miguel de Allende, that she designed, is sheer delight in its colors, art, comfort, and loving attention to every detail. In addition to all her kindness, Lena is one of those rare beings about whom you will feel truly blessed to have met.”
A propos de Cate & Judson
Allen dit,
“I have known Cate and Judson for over ten years in Australia. They have both been active in the creative arts for most of their lives and are great teachers, very willing and able, to share their skills in the creative arts with those of us who are further down the learning curve. It helps that are both are very personable, helpful and easy to get on with.
Cate and Judson have an delightful albeit cosy three story home with captivating views from the rooftop studio and deck over the town of san Miguel de Allende. Whilst not situated in the centre of the town their home is still within close proximity to the town centre. Our stay with them last year was a memorable delight with Cate and Judson generous in sharing their knowledge of the local arts scene and many of the positive surprises that this quaint, quintessentially Mexican town and the surrounding countryside has to offer.
