“I travel to Washington DC frequently. I strongly recommend Gretchen's wonderful b&b as THE place to stay in the DC area. The neighborhood is wonderfully convenient for the out of town traveller (i.e., close to Metro), it is safe and quiet, and beautiful (for e.g., the property borders a lush park). Gretchen is a superb hostess, she is very helpful, and is very responsive. The room is perfect for the traveller's needs: it is kept immaculately clean and had all that I needed for my stay. Being so economical in price, This venue is one of the true bargains in Washington. Therefore, I strongly recommend Gretchen's wonderful B&B and give her 5 out of 4 stars for B&B quality. ”
