Kathy and I have traveled as far as to Brasil together. She is adventurous and fun and interested in different cultures, including the food! Kathy is a wonderful cook.
As hosts Kathy and Ted will be terrific as they truly love to meet people. Their home is gorgeous as well as spacious and is located in a wonderful spot in our beautiful desert.
The back patio is a perfect spot to relax while watching the nearby Catalina mountains and listening to the many birds. You'll love spending time with this delightful couple.”

“If you come to Tucson, (and you will want to come JUST TO STAY at Star Bear Domes and meet Ursela). Star Bear is such a fun place to stay...unique, colorful, comfortable without being fussy, casual, great views and location and really great vibes. Everyone who comes thru the magic doorway feels the peaceful energy of the place. Star Bear is on the innovative home tour circuit and people can't wait to visit this location so they can have a peek inside...very artsy, creative space and gallery. You feel like you are in the womb of some wondrous Dome Being and can finally exhale and be reborn. You will love staying there!
The price is ridiculously cheap, your hostess and art guide (Ursela) is so much fun. She is creative from head to toe, has the energy and zing of a teenager, the wisdom of a master and you will no doubt feel she is your new Soul Sister. She has a lovely way of making sure you are taken care of coupled with giving you lots of space to have your own experience (ie she does not hover over you). This is the kind of place for those who want to be a little bohemian, to keep it simple, avail themselves of Tucson treasures, catch some vibes, take her art class or do something creative in the studio, be closer to nature and away from normalcy. Yay Star Bear!”
