A propos de Ryan
Brett dit,
“I have known Ryan for almost two years as a friend (and more recently as a running partner). He is a good friend who knows the Dupont Circle neighborhood well, and puts people at ease with his easy-going manner and infectious humor. As a long time resident of DC, I can say that Ryan does a great job helping people get to know our vibrant and diverse city.
Through AirBnB, he is a very conscientious host, taking extra effort to make sure his guests will be welcomed into an accommodating studio. We just recently went shopping together, and so I can attest to his desire to get furnishings that would improve the guest experience at his place. The studio itself is bright and comfortable, and it is located in a DC neighborhood full of shops, restaurants, and nightlife. I encourage visitors looking for easy access to the city's charms to stay at Ryan's studio.”
A propos de David
Justin dit,
“I've know David for years and he is both a great guy and an incredible host! I know that if you choose to stay with him during your trip to DC, you won't be disappointed with the accommodations or the graciouness and good humor with which you'll be recieved!
”
A propos de Caroline
Joshua dit,
“You're visiting DC. You want to stay somewhere convenient, within short walking distance of restaurants, shops, nightlife, bus, and metro, but you don't want to stay somewhere noisy, run-down, dirty, or unkempt. A place with style would be great. Comfort? Check. Caroline's place is your ticket. She takes immaculate care of her apartment. Surfaces are spotlessly clean, and the decorations are like eye candy. There are plenty of fresh clean towels, the kitchen sink has a filter built in (those who live in DC, like me, know how crucial this is!), and all the furniture is colorful, fun, and functional. In short, it's an apartment that will make you happy, let you relax from the moment you arrive, and give you that at-home feeling for the duration of your DC visit.
(Not to contradict anyone frivolously, but I think one brief word is merited to address N's review, only because it seems to contrast with what N told me when I picked up the keys from her after her week-long stay at Caroline's this March (2012) (Caroline was unfortunately unable to collect the keys herself, so as a neighbor, I was happy to help out). Not only did N tell me she loved Caroline's apartment, but she also asked me if I thought she'd be able to stay there for two weeks in April. If she hadn't stained Caroline's sink and towel with hair dye (we managed to clean it up eventually), rifled through Caroline's wardrobe, and left her dirty dishes in the sink, I know Caroline would've gladly welcomed N back. Maybe N's review reflects a bit of spite?) ”
