Hike through the woods to Dingmans Creek right behind the cabin. Upstream is George W. Childs Park and a series of 3 tumbling waterfalls; a longer hike downstream will bring you to Dingmans Falls. (Childs Park is temporarily closed due to storm damage.) DWGNRA offers swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing and kayaking, all within minutes from the cabin.
