We will start off with a local market visit near the cooking venue in the morning and observe the various livelihoods along the way. You will be given a glimpse of what the local ingredients, spices, and typical herbs are used by other native inhabitants on their daily menu. The market tour will also provide a chance for you to pick your own selection of ingredients for the cooking class.
After that, we will begin to prepare fresh vegetables, meats, fruits, and seasoning to bring your dishes to life. This will be accompanied with conversations which I thoroughly enjoy. I love to share stories and also hear them in return, and most of the time, this is what I most enjoy from my time with my guests.
During the class, we sometimes anticipate having an improvised recipe based on your taste and preferences and it's perfectly fine to add your own twist! 4 hours is never enough to complete this activity for a full local culinary experience but I do my best to share everything with my guests.
Another good news is; we can cater to vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and pescatarian dietary restrictions so that everybody can join!
