I am a Biologist and avid hiker. I discovered the San Gabriel mountains on a fieldtrip in college ever since then I have been addicted to hiking and discovering new trails. I understand the importance of our ecosystems and why we must protect our environment. I believe exposure to nature makes us develop a love and understanding for it. I love showing people the beauty and importance of nature.

Au programme

We will meet at the Cobb Estate gate a.k.a the "haunted" forest where I will give a brief history of the land and the Cobb's. Then we will make our way up the 2.5 mile Sam Merrill trail to Echo Mountain. Along the way I will point out the plants on the trail and explain the importance of the plants and our unique eco system. As we climb the mountain you will get amazing views of Downtown Los…

Le lieu

We will be in Altadena, Ca. exploring some old history of the San Gabriel Mountains. Specifically, the Cobb Estate and the remnants of the Mt. Lowe railroad and hotel that once stood atop Echo Mountain. It's so exciting hiking and exploring the ruins of the not so distant past of Los Angeles Forest.
