We’ll start off with a coffee and croissant at a local bakery and then visit two other ‘sweet spots’ (often macarons, meringues or chocolate) in a luxury neighborhood little known to tourists. You’ll get to visit the local food market and other typically Parisian independent food shops. After the tour and tasting, it’s your turn in the kitchen! We’ll go to my house and I’ll guide you through baking chouquettes: a typically French afternoon snack like a cream puff that is easy to replicate at home. You’ll get to make your own batch and will have extra to take home and snack on for the rest of the afternoon! You can learn a lot about France and the French through pastry and I’ll be sharing all sorts of tips and tricks throughout the experience. It’s the perfect mix of touring and baking and the tastiest way to explore Paris!
