During this class you will have the chance to prepare your own PAELLA and SANGRÍA in a live interactive cooking class online. We will adapt the utensils and ingredients needed to those you already have or can easily find in your local grocery store.

WE will prepare the traditional PAELLA Valenciana, made with chicken and vegetables. However, YOU can adapt the recipe to a vegetarian option or to any dietary restrictions. If that is the case, please let us know in advance.

Classes are designed for both novice and experienced cooks so that you will be able to learn and develop new techniques and skills.

At the end, we will give you written recipes and you will learn lots of tips!

  • UTENSILS FOR THE SANGRÍA: 1 litre (min) jug, Cocktail mixing spoon, Bottle opener, Ice tongs, Serving glasses
  • INGREDIENTS FOR THE PAELLA (Serves 4): 300g. (0,66lb.) Bomba rice (or any other kind of round short-grain rice), 300 gr (0.66lb.) boneless chicken thighs, 2 litres (8 cups) of chicken stock, 8 runner beans or any other green flat or rounded bean, CONTINUE
  • INGREDIENTS FOR THE PAELLA (CONTINUE): A handful of any kind of butter beans, 30g. (1 oz.) tomato puree (or grated fresh tomatoes), 2 garlic cloves, 1/4 tsp saffron threads or 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp sweet smoked paprika, 1 fresh rosemary sprig (optional
  • IF COOKING VEGETARIAN PAELLA: Instead of the chicken and the chicken stock, add to the reset of the ingredients: 3 green asparagus, 4 slices of any kind of bell pepper, 3/4 cup cauliflower, 2 litres of any kind of vegetable stock.

Victoria is a professional chef born and raised in Sevilla. For more than 10 years she was living and working abroad on Germany, UK, Madrid and Barcelona as a pastry chef and chef de partie. She loves cooking and she will be delighted to show you more about the secrets of the Spanish cuisine.

Domenico’s passion for cooking started early, helping out at his uncle’s restaurant at the age of 13. Later he began his career as a cook, spending his professional years in Mallorca, where he learnt the secrets to making the perfect paella. Now living in Seville with his Sevillana wife, Dome enjoys teaching also at Taller Andaluz de Cocina.

Cooking and teaching really fascinates us and we are passionate about Paella, Spain’s most international dish. We love to teach people how to cook the authentic paella!

Fantastic class with a wonderful host. We mistakenly brought the wrong type of rice, and he completely adjusted to our limitations. It ended up tasting wonderful. I highly recommend this class!

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday and it was such a great decision. Our paella was so incredible, and the experience of a private cooking class made it all the better. Would absolutely recommend it!

I like to think I’m a good cook but I’ve never made a good paella until now. Learnt the tricks. Really good. Lovely sangria too

This was a fun class, I took it with a friend in another state so we each could cook in our different time zones but chat Dome and each other. I love Paella so learning to make it was interesting, I highly recommend this class.

I organised this as an anniversary present for my husband and I am glad I did not have to cook much because it would have been too fast for me to get the instructions properly. My husband did most of the cooking and it was a bit undercooked so we had to put it back on the hob with more boiling water to cook for a bit longer. Once cooked properly, it was lovely. We got a bit confused because the measure of rice given with the list of ingredients was not the same as what we needed to cook on the day.

The course was well organized and very easy to follow. They were very knowledgeable about the dish and were able to coach everyone along with the ingredients we each had. It was a great experience, I would highly recommend. The food also turned out great.
