Learn how to shuck an oyster and indulge with a local

Our life philosophy is EAT ANYTHING, ANYWHERE. We like eating some of the best foods, in odd places. We will meet on the docks of East Boston where we will tear into and slurp dozens of local oysters, harvested by our oyster farmer friends, while looking over the harbor and skyline. You will learn how to properly shuck an oyster and will go home with a shucking knife of your own. The memories will be in the details. We will set up in "flash-mob" "pop-up" style along the water. Expect the unexpected.

I am a native Bostonian with a passion for shucking oysters anywhere and everywhere. Here in East Boston I am the founder of a "secret supper club" where we work closely with oyster farmers and chefs. We like to throw parties and experiences in obscure places. You can call me the queen of mystery. I like making delicacies like oysters, and caviar, more approachable. It's kind of my mission! I have lived here my entire life and also used to be a hotel concierge so I am more than happy to provide you with a list of other "must-do, must-see + must eat's" here in Boston.

Awesome experience! Alexis was super friendly, the location was beautiful, the oysters were delicious, and we got to learn a bit about her business. You get to keep your oyster knife at the end, which is a nice bonus. Would absolutely recommend!

I booked this experience for my aunt and uncle who were visiting Boston for the weekend and they really enjoyed it! They are foodies and love oysters and were really happy with the gorgeous location and learning how to properly shuck! They had wonderful things to say about Alexis and her extensive knowledge! Looking forward to trying this myself soon! Thank you, Alexis, for showing them such a great time!

Awesome experience, best view, fun time. It was super cold and windy but had a blast. Would love to do it again, especially in the summer!

When Alexis says to dress for the weather, she means it! We had a great experience learning how to shuck oysters. There was a quick tutorial at the beginning and the rest of the class is spent shucking and eating, which really helped to hone our skills. If it is going to be cold that day, though, you need to dress for it (including washable gloves!). You are standing on a dock on the water, which serves a great location but leaves you vulnerable to the elements. I happened to love the experience but others in my group seemed very very cold. Overall, I would recommend it to others who are looking for a unique experience while visiting Boston!
