You'll learn to draw, and train your eyes to work like a camera. I will show you ways to get great results. Drawing is like a language. Sometimes when we can't find the words, we find a pen and paper to get our messages across. The more we can master our attention to detail, the more experiences we have. Don't worry about your skill level or lack of it. Most people stopped progressing as drawers when they stopped drawing as kids. Join me and discover why practice makes perfect.
Other things to note
Please park in the driveway or off the road. Bring various pencils. No matter what your drawing skills are like, you will learn to master drawing one step at a time.

While running out of money in my young hippie days, it was always handy to have paper and charcoal with me. I used to make money doing people's portraits on the street. I especially loved drawing locals during my travels. I studied art in Manila, Philippines for four years in my early twenties where I learned to do still life, landscapes, seascapes, and portraits. I also learned that you have to learn to draw before you can paint, and that you must master one color at a time. It was hard to have canvas and paint while traveling, so with the ease of pen and paper I found my style.

Le lieu

I will be teaching and drawing at my house in Ocean Shores. The session will include up to four people. Afterwards, you may stay here as a guest with three difference accommodations to choose from.

A very enlightening session. Our family of 4 learned a few drawing tricks which we then applied trying to draw various objects. Definitely saw improvement by the end of the lesson. Good fun!

My kids (11 & 9) loved the drawing class. All the little tips will be used in their next school art projects. Kim kindly made the kids a banana smoothie which they rated 10 out of 10, since they first got to draw it before they consumed it.

What a great experience!!! Kim is extremely talented, with the ability to creat a very relaxed and calming environment to teach and learn in. I’ll definitely be back for a second lesson the next time I’m in the area ... in the meantime I’ll be putting what I’ve learned in to practise. Very highly recommended!!!

Lovely activity to do and given I wasn’t at all arty Kim made me feel comfortable and I got better at drawing from start to finish. It was fun!

Kim was very generous with his time and with sharing his knowledge. He gave me tips on how to improve my drawing. I highly recommend this experience.
