Our cooking experience takes place in a beautiful cooking school in the Verona's historical center, called "La Soffritta". All equipment and ingredients are provided, just bring your appetite and eagerness.
I will come and pick you up at the meeting point and, if we need to, we will stop by a "bottega", a traditional small shop, to choose and buy seasonal ingredients.
As soon as we arrive at the cooking school, you'll be given your apron and we will start the class.
First of all we will make fresh pasta from scratch, using only eggs, flour and arm muscles. Then we will prepare a risotto, one of the most traditional dishes of Verona, since we are one of the main rice producing areas in Italy. We will finally prepare a dessert, like the original Tiramisù with "savoiardi" or other traditional dessert.
Now the best part comes: sit down and enjoy the meal you prepared with your hands paired with a glass of local Valpolicella wine.
