Hi there, I am Luka, historian and tour guide for Zagreb. I was born and raised in Zagreb and I am completely in love with this beautiful city full of rich history, deep traditions, and cultural heritage. My goal is to make you fall in love with Zagreb (and Croatia) and introduce you to the charm of this bustling city center. I guarantee you will fall in love with it too. In addition to being a historian and tour guide, I love to travel and learn new languages --- communication is my passion. My hobbies include hiking (ask me where to hike in Zagreb), water polo, and reading.

I joined the tour and that day I was the only visitor. Nevertheless, Luka was engaging, clearly extremely competent and the tour very well organized. Excellent communication. Highly recommended!

Luka is a great guy with very deep Croatian history knowledge and can share it in very simple way, not boring) You can always ask something out from the box and would be fulfilled with the answer. The route takes you to main central places of Zagreb so my advise is to make it with Luka straight after you arrive.

This tour with Luka was fantastic. He has clearly given the tour hundreds of times because his mastery of the information was excellent but he never seemed bored and, in fact, he told us that he is never bored because every tour brings with it new people with different levels of knowledge and different questions and that keeps it exciting and interesting for him. His enthusiasm for history and Zagreb’s history in particular was palpable. He was also incredibly kind and friendly. I’ve done loads of walking tours all over Europe and the US and this was one of the best.

With a hand on my heart I have to say Luka is the best guide I have ever had. He has a big knowledge about the history of Croatia, the food, the legends, the wine and the anecdotes. It was a real pleasure to take part in his tour because the way he shares his knowledge and experience is just very interesting and funny. I think everyone can enjoy his tour, small kids, adults or elderly.
