In this unique experience you will be able to understand and learn why Chili is the soul of our gastronomy, the magic element of Mexican Cuisine, declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, in 2010.
We will start with a zip of tequila and then, you will be brief about the history of Chili, its many varieties, classification and uses.
I will take you then to, Alma González a renowned Chef, with whom you will have a master class. We will start harvesting some of our ingredients, and then we will be invited to enter her awesome traditional Mexican kitchen. Once in this cozy environment, we will learn -first hand-- her secrets on how to cook five types of Mexican sauces, that are at the base of a large part of Mexican Cuisine.
You will learn by doing !, and you will realize how easy will be for you to replicate these sauces back at home. Prepare them for your next gathering and impress your friends with your expertise on Mexican sauces, and with all your knowledge of Chile in the culture of Mexico.
But hold on, there is more !. We will try your just-made sauces, with our second tequila and a full meal: a variety of tacos & delicious Mexican snacks. While we enjoy, the Chef will explain which sauces go best with different vegetables and/or meats and how you can fusion them with your everyday cooking.
