Ce que vous allez faire

We will meet and start our walking tour from Park Zrinjevac, located just in the city center. It is a beautiful old park with 100 year old Platana trees. The park is also the center of Zagreb's Christmas market. From Zrinjevac, we will continue to Ban Jelačić's square, Zagreb's main square named after a duke who defended Croatia from the Hungarians in 19th century. On our way to Tkalča, street known for it's coffee shops, bars and restaurants, we will pass by the cathedral and farmer's market Dolac, where you'll be able to see how "kumice" sell their vegetables at the market. Through the Stone gate, Zagreb's only remaining gate within the old walls defenses, we will hit always photogenic St. Mark's church and the Parliament buildings. I will also share a story behind "Kula Lotrščak", which is another great photo opportunity. We will also take a world's shortest funicular ride, only to arrive to Zagreb's network of underground tunnels which will take us to Flower square where we will end our tour. I will also show you a super interesting place to have lunch or have a good time, as the locals do.

I take people see interesting places! As a certified tour guide, I've been taking people on tours through streets of Zagreb for more than a year. I was born and raised in Zagreb. I later moved to New York City to study at a university, followed with my move to San Francisco for work, only to come back home and try to convey my love and passion of this amazing city onto people coming to visit that have little or no expectation of it. Apart from being scenic and fun, Zagreb has a one-of-a-kind coffee drinking culture with it's renouned Špica. What is Špica? Come on a tour with me and find out!
