Ce que vous allez faire

You'll meet up at the Georgetown waterfront boardwalk for a 2 hour yoga session, where I lead a group of 1 - 10 people in yoga postures, meditation and breathing techniques. Each session will be uniquely tailored to each participant from beginners to intermediate abilities. You will have a guided meditation at the beginning of the session to center and prepare yourselves for an invigorating movement practice. We will have a walking meditation at the water's edge (depandant on the tide level) or laying on your back or comfortably seated). You will warm up with some gentle stretches and breathing exercises, and jump right into an invigorating practice with standing, seated and supine postures. You will be provided with verbal, visual and manual (optional) adjustments based on your body and your preferences. You will close off with a longer guided meditation and relaxation segment to fully integrate the wonderful work that you did. Be prepared to get on and off the ground, to be still, to be active, to sweat, to dip your toes in the salt water of the ocean and feel the warm red sand under your feet while having fun with others.

I’m the owner of Wenmarb Yoga, certified and trained in India, and teaching for more than a decade. I lived in the Caribbean, Toronto and India. In India I taught English to a Tibetan monk and attended live teachings with his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet. I teach yoga and meditation and my experience focuses on adults around graceful ageing. I recently created The Art of Graceful Ageing Program designed for the older adult to rapidly increase mobility and decrease stress. I left the corporate world in Toronto for a more relaxed pace of life while developing as a yoga teacher

Le lieu

We will conduct our session at the Georgetown waterfront. The waterfront has a beautiful , quiet red sand beach, grass areas and a covered bandstand that we will use for our practice.
