Great experience! We learned lots about mushroom identification and where to find them. It was really nice to get some wild ramps, chick weed, wild ginger, and garlic mustard as well. We got lucky and found a morel mushroom too. Also found wood ears and pheasant back mushrooms. It was great to go into the woods with an expert who knew the area and what we might find there. Ruthie was very knowledgeable, fun and very pleasant to spend the day with. I look forward to taking a class of hers again in the future. Perhaps the cooking class!

We had a great time spending our afternoon in the forest with Ruthie! Learned a lot about various edible plants that grow all around us. It really did feel like a "hunt" when looking for mushrooms. Ruthie was very knowledgable and easy to connect with. Highly recommend this experience!

This was such a fun experience, I would highly recommend it! We learned quite a bit about wild edible plants and it was lovely spending time in nature. Ruthie is warm and friendly, and makes everyone in the group feel included. She was great at answering our questions and giving tips about how to utilize our new knowledge once we returned home. We really enjoyed talking with Ruthie and other members of the group. And not to mention, you get a bunch of great food to take home with you!

I had a wonderful time on this foraging walk! Ruthie is so easy to get to know, she has a down to earth vibe and was ready to answer any of my questions (even though I had a million!). She knew so much about the topic I felt that she has really done her homework and wouldn't recommend doing this on my own until I was super confident in my knowledge too. Mushrooms can be dangerous and she was very well educated on them. Definitelyrecommend this to someone who just wants to get out in the bush and have a nice relaxing day. Thanks!
