This experience starts in central Lisbon - Time-out market in Cais do Sodré!

Sintra & Cascais Natural Park, from Atlantic Ocean stunning beaches to the highest point of Sintra's Mountain: you will call this town yours by day's end!

Everything begins once you hop on our jeep, with a drive-through Marginal waterfront Avenue - stunning beaches all the way until our first stop: Cascais.

After time at this former fishing village, we continue up the mountain, passing by Guincho's iconic dunes to our first hidden gem, off-track and on the cliffs: the most western point of Europe non-touristic secret spot (not Cabo da Roca, but much better, trust me)!

After showing you one of my favorite beaches, we have two options: we can stop for lunch at a cozy local restaurant in a picturesque village or we grab something to eat and continue our explorations (group decision at the day).

Say Goodbye to the coast (don't worry, it will never leave the background) and Hello to my fairly tail home: Sintra! In this magical village with an immensity of attractions you will get to see, we will take you to visit the most iconic palace, with the best postcard like views of our country: Pena Palace

Now its time for goodbye, but first, let me offer a small wine tasting, to finish the best day of your holidays=)

Drop-off is at Cascais Train Station, we believe it is the best train ride in Portugal.

Olá :) I'm Renato, born and raised in Sintra and I have put together all my greatest passions: new people, my friends, the love for my home town, and driving - and created a local tour company together with the best local experts in town to offer a unique, authentic and absolutely amazing Sintra & Cascais Nº 1 experience (check-out our FB and see for yourself: wondervantours) .

Hop on our Portuguese classic 4x4 Jeep (UMM) off the beaten paths and discover the best Sintra & Cascais has to offer, including the top attractions (such as the one and only Pena Palace), best beaches and iconic places but also the hidden secrets, non-touristic gems, amazing views and local customs only a true "Sintrence" would now!

All of this, and much more directly from central Lisbon - no need to worry about getting any transportation to meet us :)

If you are doubting doing this, stop, and just book it. It's a great time and with experts who still have the passion for what they do. They show you places you would never have found by yourself and tell you things that would takes to learn without them. If there was a chance to give this 6 stars* we would have

This was a wonderful experience. Our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly and took us to Cascais, then Sintra (both Cabo da Roca and another, secret spot which my girlfriend and I both thought was indeed greater), and the Pena Palace. Lunch was amazing - at a local restaurant in Sintra with great food and great value. The wine tasting at the end was really the perfect ending. We even bought some wine from the local vineyard, which we drove through at one point. He gave us plenty of time at every spot so that there was never a feeling of rush. We could really take in the views (which were astounding), and enjoy the experience to the fullest. We are really happy to have done this and would highly recommend the experience to anyone. We did it during this unfortunate covid situation, but our driver was taking all the proper measures of cleanliness and usage of mask. The places were still open so covid didn't affect the experience itself much at all, if anything it improved it since there were fewer crowds and never any traffic. It almost felt like a non-touristic activity (in a good way), and more like a super friendly and private ride through Sintra. So pandemic or not, you should try it out!

Tomas is an excellent host with lots of knowledge about the history of Portugal. He personalized the experience for us and made the whole tour very enjoyable. The highlights were the off-road point looking over Cascais and the tour of Sintra. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore more of Lisbon and Portugal.

Absolutely Amazing! This is a must do experience! We were shown so many great places around Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais! I would highly this experience. Our driver Reuben was first class and made sure we were comfortable, and enjoying our trip. He never rushed us and made us feel like everything was super easy and do-able! What a legend! You’ll love this as much as we did!

All in all a fabulous trip. My first jeep tour and for sure a top experience in Portugal so far. Stunning views, tasty food, great chat and comprehensive details about the places we saw on our way. Our preferences were attended to by our guide Tomas, who is friendly, down to earth and accommodating. It felt like a bonding experience although we started off as strangers. Would recommend!
