Au programme

3 hour hands-on Spanish cooking class consisting in 4 course menu: cold soup, entree, main dish and dessert. Classes are taught by a professionally trained chef in English.

During the class, guests have the chance to get involved in the preparation of the dishes, as classes are designed for both novice and experienced cooks that will be able to learn and develop new techniques and skills.

Menu to cook:
- Salmorejo, Gazpacho or Ajoblanco, etc.
- Spinach with chickpeas, Spanish potato omellete or Codfish fritters, etc.
- Paella Valenciana
- Light dessert

All ingredients and materials are provided by the school. Sangria and table olives are served during the class and at the end guests eat what has been cooked, accompanied by up to two drinks (soft drinks, Spanish wine or local beer).

All of our recipes can be adapted to any dietary restriction. Please advise in advance if a change in the menu is required.

Once back home, you will be able to practice what you have learnt. We will give you written recipes and lots of tips!

Due the current circumstances and following the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, we will provide our guests with nitrile disposable gloves and hand sanitizer.
Participants must bring their own mask, as we will all use it during cooking time.
In addition, we have reduced the capacity of our classes to guarantee the safety distance.

Victoria is a professional chef born and raised in Sevilla. For more than 10 years she was living and working abroad on Germany, UK, Madrid and Barcelona as a pastry chef and chef de partie. She loves cooking and she will be delighted to show you more about the secrets of the Spanish cuisine.

Domenico’s passion for cooking started early, helping out at his uncle’s restaurant at the age of 13. Later he began his career as a cook, spending his professional years in Mallorca, where he learnt the secrets to making the perfect paella. Now living in Seville with his Sevillana wife, Dome enjoys teaching also at Taller Andaluz de Cocina.

Cooking and teaching really fascinates us and we are passionate about Paella, Spain’s most international dish. We love to teach people how to cook the authentic paella!

I experienced this class with my wife, my daughter and her boyfriend, all with varying levels of cooking skills and experience. We were fortunate to have Victor as the instructor as he was the head chef of the organization and part of the team that started the program. Although he was born in Spain, he spoke perfect English as he spent many years of his youth and training in the UK. For me, the best parts of the class were his stories and background information on all of the dishes & ingredients and even the Sangria made from scratch. Although you are provided with thorough recipes, I wish we had a tape of the entire class just for the background trivia so we could repeat them when we try to recreate the dishes for our friends! The techniques and tips for making paella are invaluable and not something that would be easily available or explainable in a book or written recipe. The value is excellent for a four course meal with Sangria and wine & beer, plus the hands on experience of creating most of it yourselves. I highly recommend this experience.

Chef Victor Domenico Juan Pedro ~ Taller Andeluz de Cocina Taking cooking classes in places I visit are not only about learning how to cook regional dishes, but to experience the place and history of the cuisine from a local's perspective ~ Chef Juan Pedro and Inez did not disappoint. This was such an incredible experience. If you're looking for something unique to do in Seville, then this is it! The class exceeded my expectations and was a great insight into the Spanish culture. I studied abroad in Spain and the paella was just as good, if not better than the paella my Spanish host mom cooked. Victor was a great host and extremely friendly. The food was easy to make and made me feel as though I could easily cook it in my own home. I would highly recommend this class as it made our trip to Seville that much more fun!

We had a brilliant time - lovely food, good teaching, relaxed experience! Also catered to our dietary needs (vegan) thoughtfully and enthusiastically, which is rare. Would definitely recommend going!

This was the highlight of our trip to Sevilla. Juan Pedro was an excellent teacher and fun to learn from. We made salmorejo, spinach with chickpeas, and paella. At the end Juan Pedro made us a sort of sorbet drink, which was really refreshing. Additionally, they were very thoughtful about food allergies and dietary restrictions. One woman was a vegetarian and got to make a vegetarian version of paella instead. We mets some other young couples during the experience and really enjoyed spending time with them.

Victor provided a great cooking class where all participants were encouraged to be hands on! The pace was nice and easy allowing for a relaxed atmosphere of learning and laughing. I look forward to trying my hand at some of the recipes! Thank you! :)
