Au programme

The Centre is open from 10:00 and the experience includes a ticket for day entry, so you can explore the Rocket Tower and exhibition galleries at your leisure. During the day you will enjoy a 30 minute show in the UK's largest planetarium (a choice of animated science show, or presenter led tour of the night sky). Also included in the day is a home made cake, locally roasted coffee or artisan tea of your choice in Boosters Cafe, under giant rockets! At 14:00 you will head to the welcome desk to meet either Chloe, Claire, Emma or Alex for a private guided tour. The 60 minute tour is exclusive to Air B'n'B visitors and will include some of the highlight artefacts in the collection, as well as an opportunity to ask questions and get up close with some key pieces from the history of human spaceflight.

I have worked at the National Space Centre for over 14 years. In that time I have worked with the Space Communications Team to develop a range of hands on tours that take this amazing artefact exhibition and bring it to life. Our team of four all have not only a wealth of space knowledge, but also a real passion for this inspiring science.

Plus de conseils

The National Space Centre is very busy 10:00-14:00 with school groups. They can be very enthusiastic, it's a day of exciting learning outside of the classroom. After 14:00 the Centre is VERY quiet.
