So lovely chatting with Nobuto while we cooked learning about his life. Loved Nobuto’s mother who snuck us a goody bag of snacks to go home with!

My wife and I had a great time with Nobuto! His mother was there helping, which made it feel even more like a family atmosphere and both are lovely people. Very friendly and warm. The location is cool because it is in a quiet suburb of Osaka that we likely would not have gone to otherwise. It was a way to see a different side of the city and what life is like there. It was our first time preparing ramen and our first time to have ramen made with fish stock which was very yummy! It is light with a strong flavor that doesn’t make you feel heavy afterwards. We exchanged contact info with Nobuto and genuinely feel like we have made a new friend. I would highly recommend this experience, especially for the value of it!

Me and my husband loves Japanese food so much. We tried to do cooking class whenever we visit Japan to understand more about their culture, their unique yet simple ingredients which make the food so special, delicious and healthy. We never eat or cook Ramen using fish broth before. Nobuto helped us with it and we feel so welcome to experience another Japanese dishes. He speaks good English and we could understand him easy. He patiently guided us from cutting the fish until prepared the ramen in a bowl. This would be an awesome thing to do in Osaka especially if you are a food lover and want to learn one of Japan delicacy.

We had so much fun taking this class! Nobuto is very friendly and helpful, he offered to pick us up at the train station near his ramen shop because it was raining and it’s also quite a walk to the ramen shop. We also got to meet Nobuto’s mom at the ramen shop (like Nobuto, she’s also very friendly and kind). We learned how to fillet a fish. Nobuto helped us a lot throughout the process of making the ramen. He always cheered us up every step of the way, especially when we get to the ramen assembly part. To finish it all off, he gave us a variety of Japanese snacks. Overall, I recommend this class if you want to experience a fun and unique opportunity in making a bowl of ramen.
