Sensei Souei and Jun came highly recommended by my Shodo Sensei, true to every word.
I was provided with an opportunity that was truly amazing. Through Sensei Souei and Jun’s passion and expertise, I was able to take away and learn so much through this experience. They are warm, friendly and welcoming.
I learned how closely tea is connected to Shodo Calligraphy as a Japanese cultural aspect, the history of tea and actions to perform during a tea ceremony.
I am truly touched by their care, passion and devotion of over 20 years to this tradition Japanese craft. I highly recommend as a must to anyone visiting Tokyo who wants a unique cultural experience.
Thank you so much Sensei Souei, Sensei Jun and Sensei Tenshin!

This was such a special experience and a major highlight of our time in Asia. Souei is a real expert, fabulous teacher, and very kind person. He really went the extra mile with picking us up at the station and then walking us down the street to an antique store when we expressed interest in buying teacups. We had some great conversations and it was such an honor to participate!

Thank you Jun&Souei! We had a wonderful time together by being served with nice sweet and tea. We were deeply impressed by a beautiful garden, an authentic tearoom carefully decorated with hanging scroll and a flower, and warm welcoming atmosphere made by the hosts. Jun&Souei have told us about the history and disciplines of Japanese tea way, which was truly interesting and made us understand Japanese culture much more. I enjoyed this experience with my MBA peers, all of whom were totally excited and learned profoundly about Japanese culture. We were also very happy to have a photo we took together and a cute Japanese gift after the ceremony. Definitely this will be an unforgettable moment in our life. Thank you again! :)

Jun and Souei are amazing in their knowledge of the tea ceremony--the protocol, its meaning, the history and the societal impact. Their ability to communicate that in English is also superb. I loved how they opened up the time to our questions and were willing to engage in related topics that were both exciting and impactful for us. Jun especially is truly fluent in English and desire to keep learning. .
