I really enjoyed this experience very much!!! Adán was a wonderful host, he explained to us all the context of the mexican lucha libre such as history, events, famous characters, environment, etc. He helped us to understand better all about this great spectacle. Adán was also very attentive to our needs and resolved any doubts or inquiries. Definitely I would recommend this experience a lot! Such a nice guy with a lot of knowledge about Mexican wrestling and big fan of it.

Great experience & great host. Couldn’t pick a best experience in Mexico City. I really enjoyed Mexican wrestling since moment one. The experience by itself is awesome, if you’re visiting Mexico and want to know every part of its culture, this experience is a must. About the host, let me tell you that before I booked, Adán was always answering my doubts so that made me felt really comfortable. The experience starts on time, Adán is really punctual so I recommend you to be at least 10 minutes before the meeting point to enjoy since the first moment of the experience (don’t want to lose any of it), and also to respect the time of the rest of the group. So we met at an artisanal market called Ciudadela where you can buy a lot of Mexican souvenirs (you can go inside and buy things before the meeting time, cause the host give us some minutes to walk along the market) Adán is a journalist so that’s a plus in this experience because he had been immerse in all the LUCHA LIBRE WORLD and had been related with some public figures of it, plus he has been working on some business that are related to Lucha Libre. He’s also a huge fan of Mexican wrestling since he was a kid so I promise he has some really fun and interesting stories to share that no one NEITHER WIKIPEDIA can tell. Then we walked and get to a restaurant very close to the Arena, there we ate some Mexican food (cheese grilled quesadillas, guacamole) and had a toast with a good beer or a traditional Mexican beverage while listening more about the origin, wrestlers, rules and more about Mexican Wrestling always supported by dynamic and illustrative material, at the end of it he gave us a Mexican wrestler mask before entering the arena. After that we walk to the arena and Adán get us prepared for the best experience, giving us some tips to enjoy the show and also to understand the Mexican audition that I promise you: once inside they will make you feel part of them. The location of the seats inside the arena are cool, I was able to appreciate the wrestlers and the lucha from my place. Every minute of the show is worth it. You have to be able to understand what Mexican Wrestling and Mexican culture is about and how they relate each other in order to connect with the experience. I definitely would recommend this experience in specific. I had a great time with my friends. thanks Adán for sharing, in a unique way, all your knowledge and passion for LUCHA LIBRE, and making of this experience the most friendly and comfortable one. If I return to Mexico, I would book it over and over again!

IF YOU CAN GET ON ANOTHER LUCHE LIBRE TOUR PICK THAT. If you are a broad minded person who doesn’t tolerate prejudice then this tour isn’t for you. I expected some good insight on luche libre from a so-called expert. Instead I got the same as I would’ve found online. But even worse than that, the host decided he’d begin by telling us what insults to shout during the game. He boasted how the first insult he’d shared was homophobic. Then uttered some more insults which were profane and also deeply sexist. I don’t tolerate sexism or homophobia and called him out on it. I didn’t pay more than 50 usd to hear offensive language. The host apolgised after I called him out, but he clearly uses this sort of language on most of his tours. It’s unacceptable and it ruined the entire tone of the day. He also walked us though a market but gave us no time to browse. Took us to a restaurant where there was no thought for vegetarians. All I was offered was a basic cheese enchilada. Again for 54 usd I expected more. On the plus side the wrestling seats were decent and he was a decent Host otherwise - he shared some v basic info about who some of the wrestlers were, gave us masks and also helped with post wrestling souvenir shopping. I’ve read better reviews for the other luche libre tour but picked this as it’s run by a journalist. But my advice is avoid. Someone who freely uses homophobic and sexist language doesn’t deserve my money, nor yours.

We had a group of 4 people on this experience and loved every second of it! Adan was a great host and knew so much about Mexican wrestling- since he is a journalist and loves it! The tacos were ok- but the story telling and beers/margarita made up for it. The wrestling match was super fun to watch and hilarious, I would definitely recommend taking this tour to learn about the unique sport.

Adan was a super knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic host. His stoke for lucha libre was infectious and it really helped to have him there to explain some the details of the chaos we were watching in the ring. I've never been a fan of wrestling but I just may be one now. Super fun night!
