Sibiu or Hermannstadt was established in the early 1100s by German settlers and 900 years later travelers from all over the world visit the city and learn about its past. Join my tours to step inside some of the most unique publicly available historic residential buildings or walk down centuries old cobbled streets as we’ll be passing by vividly colored houses. Sibiu, as any other 1000 years old cities, has its own hidden gems, be that some points of interest visitors can see or stories from the past that only locals know about and are happy to share with like minded travelers. In short we’ll come up with a start point in the tour, depending on what the guests prefer, meander down narrow streets, admire city views and various architectural features, learn about the town’s both glorious and dark past. Depending on the weather and the time of day we could also take a short break at one of the terraces open in the old town area either to sip in a cup of coffee, some beverage or even have lunch - we’ll see. I enjoy sharing local history to travellers visiting Transylvania as much as I love learning new aspects of locals’ life from centuries ago. Life teaches us new and great things about the past so even after 3 years since I moved to Transylvania I keep finding out cool things and places to explore and share with others. As an avid traveler I do know how some are looking to find the spots only locals know how to get to and thus I’ll be more than happy to take you around this picturesque old town
