Le logement
Peregrine Cabin is an OFF THE GRID cabin located on 14 acres in the middle of the Red River Gorge Geological Area. Hike right out to the Martin’s Fork trailhead. Or if you’re more adventurous, find your way to the start of the Auxier Ridge trails or Raven Rock. This cabin, built seven years ago, is the ultimate getaway for those wishing more comfort than camping, but also wanting to be immersed in nature. YOU MUST HIKE UP TO THE CABIN. This is not for the faint of heart or out of shape. However, your efforts will be rewarded. Surrounded by cliff lines, located in the Red River Gorge Geological area, this is a gem of a cabin.  The upstairs bedroom with a full-size bed opens to a flat roof. There’s also a queen futon downstairs if you have more than two people coming to stay. There is a fee of $15/night per extra adult over two guests.

There is one electrical outlet in the cabin.   For cooking, we provide a single butane burner inside and a propane grill outside.   There is a gas log stove for heating (this has recently replaced the wood-burning stove in the photos). Firepit outside for your enjoyment! Water comes from a spring to a spigot outside the door.  A heavy-duty cooler is provided for food storage. There is now a HOT WATER OUTDOOR SHOWER.

We provide cooking and eating crockery and utensils, linens and towels.
Red River Green Rental Cabins are located within the Red River Gorge Geological area in the Daniel Boone National Forest. To get there you drive through the Historic Nada Tunnel, snake through the national forest and hike into our off the grid cabins. We have two unique, and minimalist cabins, both of them are off the grid. Peregrine Cabin is a modern two story forest get away with a forest shower. Enjoy the backcountry at the fire pit. Make this your base for a fun getaway where you can find hiking trails starting at the cabin. The Red River which has many places to swim, canoe, kayak and fish is only a 1/2 mile away.

We currently do not allow pets for this rental.
