The best nest in Lawrenceville, this apartment is a favorite of every guest. It's perfect for a person or couple looking to stay a week or longer. Easy to maintain, super cute, it has everything you need. The couch quickly turns into a bed, the kitchen has a digital gas wall oven and dishwasher. There is plenty of light and a nice view of the city.

Le logement
This is an attic apartment in a classic Lawrenceville house, intended for longer visits. To access the apartment you need to walk through the mainsteps in the house however it is private from the rest of the house. The kitchen is equipped with some basics to get you started cooking and has most things you'll want, otherwise you can borrow it from the other kitchen in the house.

You will have an apartment to yourself with whatever you need in it, just ask us if something is missing.

I live in between two cities Berlin and Pittsburgh, both have my heart. I have an old house in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, that I'm sure you'll love to visit. Other fun bits of trivia about me include having a degree in metal sculpture and art history, being obsessed with biking everywhere. I tend to be a slight technology-phobe which is ironic since I love techno music. Also, I spend a lot of time volunteering for various causes and am extremely active in the gay community in Pittsburgh. On the city side of things, I have a deep love for Pittsburgh and it's surprising history. Exploring Pgh's 100 neighborhoods on bike never gets old for me. In the city, I try everything at least once, usually several times. One of my more well known pastimes is exploring and photographing abandoned buildings right before or during demolition, this makes great fodder for my quirky conceptual (Hidden by Airbnb) feed (search/follow me at johnjavins on (Hidden by Airbnb) ). This will also yield endless insight into my world. Otherwise, I'm very stable, upfront about everything, non-judgemental, and non-critical of everyone no matter what, since no one (especially me) can throw stones. For the most part, I get along with everyone I meet and love to hear everything about you, if you tell me. I'm highly protective of my friends as well and will move the earth for them and the same goes for my guests. Generally when I travel, I bike locally, use public transportation when possible, take the megabus to any place I can, and fly otherwise. The less gas I can use in my truck the better, since that thing gets awful mileage. ---->As far as guests go, I'm looking for easy people who are independent and curious about Pittsburgh. Business Travelers are very welcome, each bedroom has an office area and quality amenities. If you are visiting for short-term work I have longer-term rental options. You must not be afraid of steps, as my house has plenty. I'm not looking to host big parties or rowdy groups. However larger groups (up to 7 downstair and 3 in the attic apartment) are welcome and I can negotiate a better deals.
