Island Pearl , as the name suggests, is something of a rarity on the Island - a beautifully appointed home in a prime location that also has wheelchair access.

** COVID Cancellations/Changes **

We understand that if a lockdown means you are not permitted to come and stay, it is different than cancelling or changing a booking for other reasons. If a lockdown means you (as the person booking) are not permitted to come and stay, we will provide you with the choice of either cancelling and getting a full refund or changing your dates. Please ask us if you have any questions about this offer as some exclusions may apply based on notice, group composition restrictions, etc.

** About the home **

“Island Pearl” is a superb, light-filled, single-story townhouse loaded with appeal in central Cowes, and one you will be keen to return to time after time. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

** Indoor Areas **

The delightful open plan kitchen / dining / living area (with TV, DVD player and coonara-style fireplace), opens onto the decked courtyard. Off from the kitchen, there is a second living space (with TV) which is fitted out to double as a fourth bedroom easily suitable for guests with mobility issues and/or wheelchairs.

Three more bedrooms follow, the master bedroom with walk through robes and an en-suite (with shower, toilet and vanity). The main bathroom contains a wheelchair-accessible shower (plus vanity unit and toilet). Also found is the european laundry with washing machine.

** Outdoor Areas **

The fully fenced, decked courtyard in a picturesque setting is equipped with a gas BBQ and large outdoor table with long bench chairs and is perfect for children or pets. The double carport allows ample parking for two vehicles.

** Kitchen **

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, a Nespresso-compatible pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

** Heating/Cooling Systems **

In the main living area there is wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioning unit as well as a coonara style fireplace. The second living area also contains a wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioner. Bedrooms 1 & 2 both have wall mounted heaters, and there is a mobile heater for use where required.

** Bedding Configuration **

"Island Pearl" is configured to comfortably sleep any combination of adults and children up to a maximum of 9:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One set of King single bunks and one King single bed
Bedroom 4: One single bed which may be suitable for a disabled person

There is also a fold down divan in the 4th bedroom that is suitable for one adult or child.

** Linen **

A standard booking comes with doonas with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests can bring their own sheets (flat and fitted), pillow cases and towels or opt to pay extra for this 'optional linen'. The cost to provide optional linen is a once off fee per stay of $30 per king/queen/double bed and $15 per single bed. Please advise us if you would like this additional service.

** Peak Periods **

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, ** check in times **are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional** linen hire **over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

** Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies **

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
