Perfect for 1 to 10 guests! Villa is in the town of Chacala, located on the hill overlooking the bay. The villa offers 3 bedrooms, 4 baths, living room, bar, fully equipped main kitchen, plus additional fully equipped kitchenettes on each villa level. A favorite hang out is the amazing roof top terrace giving panoramic views in all directions. All rooms have A.C., t.v. and wifi. Everything in town is within easy walking distance (restaurants, beach, schools, markets, park and clinic).

Autres remarques
Places we like to go:
1.  Chacmool for coffee and breakfast, lunch & dinner http://chacmoolcafe.webs.com
2.  Las Brisas Restaurant for all 3 as well and we like to hang out at Las Brisa's beach side restaurant -- it is our beach base & we set up a tab there. http://www.lasbrisaschacala.com & a great group always gathers at Las Brisa’s for sunset each day. Oh, did I mention their awesome Margaritas!
3. Other Beach Restaurants that really offer great seafood are Acelas & Chicos. Be sure to order their slowly barbequed fish = Pescado estilo Sarrendeado.
4.  Susana Escobido has a really great breakfast atop her home and bungalows = Casa Pacifica.  When you descend Villa Cascada de Flores private drive, instead of going left towards Chacala beach, you'd go right a block & then at big wooden gates, go right 3 houses.  It'll be on your left.   It's a divine place to have breakfast and to enjoy good company and view the dense jungle and Chacalilla Bay. Casa Pacifica is her home & bungalows and her web site is: http://www.casapacificachacala.com/index.htm
5.  On Thursday evenings, starting at 6:30 PM, Karla Lawyer has a happy hour pot luck above her house & bungalows.  It is a great way to meet people.  Her home & bungalows are just to the left of the gated entrance to Chacalilla. It is blue. Casa Caballito del Mar
6.  I’ve run across a blog spot created by a resident of Chacala named Allan Hardman . His blog spot has all sorts of Chacala insights. http://chacalamusings.blogspot.com/2009/12/beautiful-night-in-paradise-chacala.html
7.  I like going to PV for shopping and dining and hanging out on the Malecon.  Also, my family loves the zip line tours.  Our favorite is Los Verranos. http://www.canopytours-vallarta.com
8.  There is a little town just north of Las Varas that has a ranch with thermal pools and picnic tables. It really is a fun spot to visit & just 30 minutes away. More information can be found in Villa’s Hopefully Helpful Info binder.
9.  Las Varas, neighboring town, has restaurants with more traditional Mexican meals and great prices. (Angelicas)  It also has a pizza restaurant and Chinese restaurant too now!
10.  In Chacala, hopefully you'll go to Mar de Jade http://www.mardejade.com and watch the sun set and dine there one evening – call ahead! Also, if you really want to spoil yourselves and meet a lovely couple who have been here since the 70’s plan to visit Majahua, the boutique hotel just above Mar de Jade.  (the owner was the mayor of Chacala) http://www.majahua.com
11. Please check out: Cambiando Vidas http://www.cambiandovidasmexico.org A jewel of a success story in Mexico: Cambiando Vidas is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing opportunities to local area students in Chacala, Nayarit.
12. Chacala now has its own micro-brewery! One corner up from Hotel Paraiso Escondido or one block down from villa on main road. Onda Brewery open Friday and Saturdays from 4 – 10 PM. Excellent beer!
13. Cafe Madre: New wonderful home baked breakfast restaurant has just blessed our town! Cafe Madre is across from El Jardin and Amado Nervo grammar schools
14. Fit in a visit to the Tapas Bar at S end of beach headed towards Mar de Jade. They are open Thurs – Sunday, definitely fit in their Sunday brunch!
15. Put on your calendar Mingos for a yummy Saturday Pozole lunch!
16. We have an Organic Market & a Deli now at Los Arcos home (just past Karla's, opposite side). Wed. & Sat from 10AM – 2PM.
17. Don't forget to check out Surfer's Pizza across from Chacmool and their new taco stand on streetside corner just after Las Brisas and before Isidros.
18. If you want to rent paddle boards, boogie boards or surf boards you can from Surfer's Pizza or from Chuy & Liliana at their location just past fruit stand. It's called XPLORE and both are excellent guides!
19. Last, but not least, we have a facebook community page now. It's called Chacala Community Board. You can share that you will be arriving soon to Chacala or that you've arrived and ask to join. Lots of great things get posted on this page from music venues to whale watching excursions to restaurant specials.

Our sincere hope is that you enjoy Chacala as much as we do when we are there.

Love to hang out with the grandkids.
Pendant votre séjour
Dear Guests:
1. If we are not here to greet you when you arrive, I'll send you a combination to open villa's lock box attached to main entry gate (immediately after you open entry gate, please replace gate key in lock box as you’ll then find your set of keys in door to your bedroom suite). On your departure date, please make sure you replace keys in door handle when you leave. (except for studio – we'll leave your key set on studio's kitchen counter and you'll access your door by opening the lock box just to left of your entry door which is street level, far right end of villa's front.) Villa's main entry gate is on its far left side, studio door is on its far right side as you face villa.
a. Each set of keys has a gate key and a bedroom key except for studio which only has its own entrance key & back door key.
b. When leaving, always lock the gate using your key for safety’s sake.
2. There are security lock boxes in all bedrooms – please follow directions given to unlock and relock with your own # combination. If you goof too many times (which can happen), we have a key to unlock safe in order to start anew & 2 of the safes use keys exclusively. Some safes use just a key and if that's the case a key will be set in safe. Please don't lose this key!!
3. Javier is our property manager (from house Mexican phone line, dial) = 045-322-146-4787 bahiachacala@gmail.com He is a great problem solver and quickly attends to issues that arise as soon as he is notified.
4. There are boogie boards downstairs available for your use – for our local beach you won’t need to take chairs as all restaurants provide seating and Las Brisas & Chacmool, Isidros & Chicos welcome you and Chacmool has great beach lounge chairs for your use (buy a Margarita, etc. at one or the other & enjoy a day at the beach!)
5. Try to remember to rinse off sand at outside shower (located to left of front gate on rock wall) or better yet, on our lawn before entering villa – helps prevent plugging of our shower drains = thx!
6. AC's are usually not needed from mid October to end of April but please if needed, Use AC’s only when in rooms, and please turn off when not in room = thx again!
7. Every room has a HHI binder or folder with more “how to’s & where to’s…” -- it is loaded with lots of info, including how to get on internet and suggestions where to dine, etc.
8. Remember, please no paper down toilet or other sanitary products.
9. Most importantly our hope is that you ENJOY your stay here in Chacala! Lots of sun, surf and sand to help you with this important endeavor.
