Uniquely renovated 19th century heritage building is stylish and functional. Rustic heritage but modern and fresh with heating in every room for those cosy nights in.

Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor. It is bright and spacious with a queen size bed and built in wardrobes.

Bedroom 2 is on the upper floor. It is bright and spacious with a queen size bed and built in wardrobes.

The house main bathroom is modern and spacious with quality toiletries. This space also has a front load washer and dryer.

I offer guests exclusive access to a WiFi NBN connection, with unlimited usage.

Located in the heart of Launcestons CBD with access off Wellington Street via an electric gate to the car park and back door.

Key and gate remote is found via a lock box on the gate.

There is one car space reserved for guests.

Standard bookings are for 2 people who will get access to the upstairs queen bedroom or the downstairs on special request should stairs be an issue. More than 2 guests will have access to both the upstairs and downstairs bedroom but will be charged for subsequent quests accordingly. Should 2 guests require both bedrooms a third guest fee will be charged.

The terrace is wheel chair friendly to the bottom level with all amenities and one of the 2 queen size bedrooms located on this bottom level.

Extract from Tasmania heritage register;
18 Wellington Street Launceston is a modest Victorian terrace of a vernacular form derivative of Georgian architecture and is a fine inner city example. It comprises three conjoined two-storey brick and stuccoed townhouses with a shared hipped roof, shallow eaves and multi-pane windows. Two chimneys protrude from the ridge line, and a further two chimneys protrude from the rear roof face. The rear roof slope is elongated, and would appear to be the result of a later alteration. A single-storey skillion extends across the rear of the building, and there is evidence that this contained utilities (laundry and toilets). This area has been renovated, and a substantial new addition attached to the rear.
The facade of the terrace is rendered and features three front doors with transom lights and stone steps, and six windows. The interior of the terrace retains its original planning and some original details, including elements such as windows, architraves, skirtings, fireplace surrounds, and traces of some early decorative treatments. The ground floor front rooms have lapped board ceilings. The roof is shingled under recent short-sheet galvanised corrugated iron. At the rear of the property are double-hung windows addressing the western elevation.

18 Wellington Street is located on the main arterial route that exits the central business district of the northern Tasmanian city of Launceston. To the south is a set of c1887 two-storey brick terraces on the corner of Brisbane and Wellington Streets; to the east, the former c1939 Tasmanian Tyre Service building; to the north, the Launceston Polytechnic in the c1901 Wellington Square School building; and to the west, the c1990 Launceston College sporting facilities. 18 Wellington street has landmark status as part of a streetscape of early residence in the city centre, and is an integral component of the City Commercial Precinct.
