Stunning modern design spread over 3 stories and approximately 4,000 square feet, solar powered. Bright and airy home. Master suite has north and south floor-to-ceiling windows with electric shades. Bathroom is huge and worthy of a magazine spread. All bedrooms have lake views and views of Mount Garcia. 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 2 half baths, home theatre (75" 4k), fiber optic wifi. Elevator also brings you to roof top featuring comfortable furniture, fire pit, and stunning views.

You know you are in a most unique home as you enter into the atrium, and find a 2-story tall tree growing indoors.

Two of the three bedrooms have air conditioning but it is seldom used. The living room/dining room have sliding glass doors instead of walls. These are on the north and south exposures, matching the prevailing winds. Enjoy the view even in the cool of morning, then slide everything open for a lovely breeze in the afternoon sun. A true feeling of indoor-outdoor living.

All bedrooms have lake views and views of Mount Garcia.

This 3-level home features a home theatre in the botom level, with 75" Sony 4K smart television. This room has 4 chairs, two of which are electronic recliners with cup holders, USB ports, and electronically-adjustable headrest. The adjacent wine cellar will be viewable but locked.

The master has a 55" OLED television with satellite TV (Shaw) providing a wide selection of American and Canadian programming - which is rare around Lake Chapala where most cable and satellite is Spanish.

Large kitchen with all major appliances and excellent cooking space. Washer and dryer in separate room.

Did we mention the elevator? It connects the street level to the middle and upper floors, including a level rooftop with stunning 360 degree views that beg you to visit for sunset. Not recommended for small children. Enjoy this view from comfortable furniture surrounding a marble firepit.

Our home has 3 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. (A 4th bedroom and bath are not included in this rental - they are locked for personal storage while our guests visit.)

Mosquito-repellent system resists skeeters during the summer months. Ajijic generally has low or zero mosquitos in winter.

Home security system. Security gate at street entrance, with remote control.

A solar hot water system and 19 solar electric panels bring this house into carbon negativity, or close to it.

Walk to breakfast at La Casa del Waffle. Short drive to some of Ajijic's best restaurants. About a mile drive to the lakefront Malecon but on foot you can reach the beach area in 4+ blocks (less than 10 minutes' walk).

A hot tub is on order with installation expected in August 2021, but date remains uncertain until the manufacturer actually delivers and installs.

Heating is installed in master bedroom, with two portable space heaters as well. Have not used any heating in more than a year.

Housekeeping service included 3 days per week.

Où se situe le logement

The west end of Ajijic Village is lovely on the mountain side. Close to everything but not in the normal traffic zone.
