This modern family home has been completely renovated with painstaking attention to detail using quality fittings and finishes throughout. Magnificent, newly renovated and rebuilt north facing home is located on the crest of the ridge overlooking Jameson Park in Morningside. This modern family home has been completely renovated with painstaking attention to detail using quality fittings and finishes throughout. Spacious verandas, both upstairs and downstairs, offer city and sea views, with the upstairs view being panoramic. The home boasts large picture, aluminium windows and doors throughout the home. The blend of the old with the new in the home is seamless with the original Oregon pine flooring having been retained, refurbished and treated along with the wooden door frames and beams in the formal lounge and entrance hall. The modern open plan kitchen features a centre island with a Whirlpool Ceran hob and under counter oven finished off with natural stone counter tops. The detailing in the fitted cupboards is remarkable with glass display cabinets, wooden and glass shelving contrasts and imported cupboard and drawer fittings. The walk in pantry is accessed through double doors featuring ornate glass panels. The separate scullery is plumbed for both a washing machine and dishwasher and provides direct access to the drying courtyard. An open plan home office / study which is ideal for homework, is included in this expansive open plan area. The built in desk and shelving is completed in the same quality finish as the kitchen and offers similar wooden detailing in the shelving and desktop. The dining room is open plan to the kitchen and features large aluminium picture windows that overlook the garden and provide access to the veranda. The family lounge is accessed off the open plan area and offers wall to wall sliding glass doors that open to the salt chlorinated swimming pool and patio. The entire home has been rewired with great attention to the placement of every wall plug which complies with South Africa’s new plug and socket standard, the ZA Plug.

The refurbished wooden staircase leads to the three en-suite bedrooms upstairs. The exceptionally large main bedroom runs the length of the home and leads out to the veranda that offers panoramic views. The dressing area offers extensive built in cupboards and provides access to the en-suite bathroom. The modern bathroom has a feature bath, double basins set in a vanity, a shower and a toilet. The second bedroom similarly leads out to the upstairs veranda, has built in cupboards and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower over the bath, a basin set in a vanity and a toilet. The third bedroom offers an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. There are extensive built in cupboards in the passage. All the bedrooms are generously proportioned and have split level air conditioners and have televisions. Netflix and Youtube are accessible. The bathrooms have all been renovated and have sensors on their lights and heated towel rails. There is garaging for four cars with the one garage being a tandem garage (can accommodate 2 smaller cars. There is direct access to the property from all the garages. The property is fully walled with an electric fence, has 24 hour access control with an intercom, electric garage doors, an alarm system and the property has been wired for CCTV camera's. There is a 24 hour street guard in the road.

Guest have full access to the main building and all the amenities of the property including the double lock up garage and pool. Please feel free to utilise the patio and braai equipment provided. There is a separate annexure to the main building which is currently unoccupied which is not included. There is a toilet and bathroom in the annexure which may be used.

Autres remarques
The area is in the most affluent area of Morningside. It definitely the safest part of Morningside. There is a 24hr street guard on the road. The home is secured by high walls and an alarm system. There are also cameras on the outside of the property. We are situated within very close proximity to Florida road where you will find pubs and restaurants to suit anyone's pallets. Situated not far from Durbans Golden Mile you will be able to visits one of Durbans many beaches and the Suncoast Casino and Entertainment where you can catch a show at the Barnyard or catch a Movie.

The area is very quite as the home is tucked away from the major arterial roads in the area. There is very little noise in the area however you are able to hear music from the Moses Mahiba Stadium and Botanical Gardens on concert days. These are few and far between. I have loved living there as it's very close to everything yet you don't feel like you are in the city. You have gorgeous views of Jameson Park, Mitchell Park and a Panoramic view of the sea and city. Relax in the evening in the covered outside verandas and balconies and sip a sundowner. Enjoy:)
