We are 15 minutes from Portland International Airport and one mile from the Vancouver Amtrak Station, Interstate 5, and Portland light rail. The Inn is walking distance to historic Officers Row, Columbia River Waterfront , Esther Short Park, Hilton Convention Center, Clark County Court House and numerous restaurants, antique stores and shops.

The Briar Rose Inn is located in downtown historic Vancouver USA which is a charming area to stroll and visit the local brew pubs and coffee shops. The newly developed Waterfront is now available with new restaurants and a floating pier which is fun to explore.

We are a retired couple. Sallie was a flight attendant for a major airline traveling the globe. Ted retired from marketing and together we spent nine years completely renovating the Briar Rose Inn which is now 110 years old. The home has been completely updated into a modern efficient inn preserving the original character of the era. We have enjoyed traveling through the years. Currently, we love our business which we started in 2006. Over the years of hosting guests, we have met wonderful folks from all corners of the world and have made many new friends. We are still as enthusiastic about our business as we were back in 2006.
