Le logement
Preston Roost is accessed via a private, ground floor entrance using a unique code. On entering, the stylish decor of this maisonette is apparent immediately. White victorian panelling flooded with pink light adorns the stairway leading you to the first floor. The open-plan entertainment space with a dining area that can seat 10 people is ideal for gatherings with friends/family or to use as a workspace. Here you will also find access to the enclosed, astroturfed roof garden.

Turning right through a mahogany sliding door takes you to an illustrious & well designed deep blue living room. Exposed brick, bay window & a log burner which can be used on request, give it a cosy & luxurious feel. Pops of colour from the burnt orange 4 seater velvet Habitat sofa bed and a single velvet pouffe both housing quality pull out beds inside, add to the stylish look of this multi-purpose room. There is storage for clothes & bags under the large smart Tv which has Freeview, Netflix and Amazon. Sound is run through an AE blue tooth music speaker which sounds great! Other features to enjoy are fast 100mb broadband & a large, retro SMEG fridge which is perfectly placed to store the bubbles.

The hand made kitchen is a retro-chic dream, bringing 1950's style to the 21st century. Fitted with brand new appliances including dishwasher, two ovens, microwave & Nespresso 11314 capsule coffee machine. Cooking/entertaining at home is made easy as you will find all the pans, crockery & utensils you need, plus the all-important tea and coffee is provided.

There is also a fully modernised WC and shower room on this floor.

Adding to the star quality & luxurious feel of Preston Roost, up the stairs to the second floor, you can't help but notice a number of photos of famous people all of which have been photographed by David. These include Micheal Stipe, Amy Winehouse, Fatboy Slim. These are available to buy on request directly from us or on David's website.

On the second floor, you'll find two bedrooms & a striking family bathroom with WC, shower & bath. The bedrooms benefit from high ceilings giving a spacious and airy feel &, as with the first floor are decorated & furnished to a very high standard whilst maintaining some of their original charm.

The main bedroom has two single beds which, on request, can be made into a Super King sized bed. Housed under both these beds are two additional trundle beds giving this bedroom the size & capacity to sleep four guests in quality, single beds.

The second bedroom with original fireplace (not in use) & feature, exposed brick has a 'hanging', birch ply, single bed from the ceiling with a double bed underneath. Both bedrooms have Smart TVs.

We have the facility for secure parking for 1 car at Regency Mews Secure Parking which is extremely close to the property, just off Preston Street. Please advise on booking if this is required as we cannot guarantee the availability closer to your date of arrival.

For any additional cars you can book direct (this should be done as far in advance as possible). Please note this is a different car park to The Regency Square NCP which is considerably more expensive!

Sites such as Just Park & My Parking Space are also widely used in Brighton.
Preston Roost is within walking distance to the train station (15 minutes).

Guests are provided with fresh towels and newly pressed bed linen aswell as 'Faith in Nature' shampoo & bodywash in both bathrooms. These are on a refill basis & are 99% natural origin. Other household essentials such as tea, coffee & loo roll are also provided.

We are pet friendly though this MUST be confirmed with us first. Please check with us before booking to confirm suitability.

Please note the property has a narrow, steep staircase throughout. Care should be taken at all times particularly with young children & when carrying luggage etc.

Being located in such a central, lively location close to bars & restaurants please be aware that there may be noise from outside that is audible in the property, particularly at weekends.

Weekend bookings we will require you to book both Friday and Saturday nights. No bookings can start or end on a Saturday unless the preceding two Fridays are booked.
