Located in the heart of Old Town, one of the most unique properties that epitomizes the heritage and soul of this historic area. A 'build over' of an original Mining Camp House from the Copper Boom in Jerome from 1913. The addition and foundation were poured in 1943. Loaded with charm, character and coziness the cottage is located right in the very center of Old Town so everything is in close walking proximity. The front of the building is where I have my tattoo and body piercing practice.

Le logement
Full disclosure. The room is quite small because it is an almost 100 year old house. The room is app 7.5 X 11.5 ft. 25 minutes from Sedona, located in the center of Old Town Cottonwood, everything's in close proximity walking. Famed 'Jerome' Ghost Town is 5 miles away. The river and nature trails (see photos) are right at the end of the street of the Chateau, 5 minute walk. Tuzigoot National Monument Sanagua Indian Ruin Village is a 5 minute drive. Usually on location, except when out of town, is a knowledgeable host that has lived here for 20 years to give recommendations and answer any questions. The host lives in the same house but is respectful of your privacy and space. The Cottage is from 2 different era's 1913 and 1943. This neighborhood began with Mining Camp houses from Jerome being salvaged from them toppling and sliding upon themselves as a result from over population of the Copper Boom. The stout thick Mining Camp Houses were rolled down the mountain on carriages in the early 19th century. When I cut in and built the breakfast bar, there were news papers in the wall from 1913. The foundation of the rest of the 'build over' was done on 03/13/43' as it is etched in the cement in several places around the property. When you open the Eve and look into the attic, you can see the original roof from the early Jerome mining days, circa, 1913.

Accès des voyageurs
Guests have access to their bedroom of course, the back patio outdoor living area, The kitchen, The breakfast bar and the laptop station.

Autres remarques
This is a pet friendly space, just no cats though. There is a $40 pet fee for a single pet for up to a 3 night stay which we will take payment upon arrival.

It's like Mr. Rogers Neighborhood with a Gothic twist. 'Old Town' is notorious with foodies for it's exceptional restaurants. There are also artsy boutiques, cafe's, patisseries, antique shops, curiosity shops, and some shops that i just can't quite figure out what they are. You'd just have to see them yourself to decipher what they would be called. .

Hi, my name is Chris Gear. I am an independent local business owner of 20 years and have an affinity for all things unique and vintage, including houses. I like to travel and know how important it is to have an environment where you and your loved ones can feel comfortable and at home in. I am an avid tennis player and enjoy golf, disc golf and cycling. I am currently working on opening two new bnb's because these have been so well received. Hope that I can accommodate you and your friends and family and loved ones. Cheers, Chris
