This 625 sq.ft. cabin is right on the Red River. There are two bedrooms with queen beds in both, one bathroom, kitchen, dining area, gathering area with fireplace and sofa. There is also a full length covered front porch on the river and a gathering area outside with a fire ring for your enjoyment. You may put a small kid on the couch or in one of the beds with you if desired. Daily linen/towel service is NOT provided.

We're long-time Red River entrepreneurs. My contractor husband and I have a store, a lodging business, and a construction business. We're offering several of our lodging spots here on Airbnb. We have one in-town overnight rental (with hot tub). We also have a rustic base camp in our newly acquired and work-in-progress RV/lodging in the Carson National Forest, 4K River Ranch.

Red River, New Mexico is an old mining town turned mountain vacation destination for skiers, hikers, bikers, fishermen, and families looking to relax and reconnect, surrounded by the beauty of nature. We are passionate about history, friendliness and kindness, and the natural world.

We have lived here since 1989 – we love the mountains and the high desert plains of northern New Mexico. My husband and I both come from the plains and were raised on the flatlands.

We bought an iconic store in the heart of town in 2007 Frye's Old Town, which has been in operation since 1959. It's really two stores in one; the gift, souvenir, and toy side, and the boutique side, called Jewelry Lady Red River.
