Situated 200m from the cliff tops at Sellicks Beach-the southern most stretch of Adelaide's suburban beachside-this light, airy, two-storey home is found in what was once the original settlement of Sellicks Beach.
We produce our own electricity, hot water and, for most of the year, run on collected rainwater.

The home sleeps up to 6 adults in 3 bedrooms, added to which are 2 living areas, 2 bathrooms and 3 showers.
The bedrooms are configured as a queen and two doubles.
(Please refer to 'Other things to note' for booking guidelines).

Upstairs a generous, well-equipped kitchen with stone bench tops overlooks a large, light-filled living area, taking best advantage of the views, over treetops and out to sea.
Quality furnishings; a generous L-shaped KING leather lounge and solid timber JAPHY dining table add to the comfort in this versatile living space.

A gas BBQ on the upstairs decking alongside the kitchen provides an easy alternative for outdoor cooking and dining.

Downstairs, a generous space with polished concrete floors, includes a second relaxed lounge area, two double bedrooms, a modern bathroom with a freestanding bath and a separate toilet.

An expansive, decked balcony with separate access from dining, lounge and master bedroom surrounds the upstairs living areas.
Ground level decking provides another space for retreat overlooking the lawn and orchard.

Louvre-windows, ceiling fans in all lounges and bedrooms, reverse cycle air conditioning and underfloor heating in winter are aimed at creating all year round comfort.
Added to our eco-friendly set up of double glazing, solar hot water and electricity there is also a north-facing orientation for the living area allowing sun in winter which is then afforded shade from the summer sun.

Rainwater is used for most of the year, which is then recycled onto the garden.
Lawn surrounds

Several big trees give a relaxed feel. Exit the yard onto our vehicle-free lane which is suitable for small bikes or a hit of cricket. Or, keep going with one of those boogie boards in the laundry and stroll straight on down to the beach.

A short 200m walk down adjacent lane to the sea and a GENERAL STORE; good fish, chips and hamburgers and basic groceries.

5 min drive away to very reliable dining at the VICTORY HOTEL with an excellent wine list. Bookings (almost) essential.

The CUBE at Darenberg

10 min drive to Old Coach Road: ALDINGA BAKERY and nearby emerging strip with good cafes and MISS GLADYS ON SEA for fun fashion

Head down Port Rd (off Old Coach Rd, Aldinga) to STAR OF GREECE restaurant and the rugged coastline at Pt Willunga. Don’t miss this one.

Supermarkets are also 10-15 minutes drive away in the more recently established reaches of Aldinga Beach.

SOUTHERN VALES WINERIES, many with cool DINING are all within easy reach. Visit the helpful info centre at McLaren Vale for latest updates.

For overseas and interstate visitors, Sellicks Beach is on the road to Kangaroo Island - less than an hour from the ferry.

Sellicks Beach is a remote small town, increasing popular for holidays. Great country feel. Excellent access to many Southern Vales wineries and the whole Fleurieu Peninsula. And, of course, the beautiful beach.
