Harbor / Marina
“Everyone has heard of Bah' Habbah' (Bar Harbor, Maine). It is the home to Acadia National Park. Very scenic, but also very crowded in the summer. 1 hour drive southeast of the Cottage, about 48 miles. As an alternative go to Belfast Harbor or to the Bucksport waterfront, much less crowded and equally as scenic. ”

Natural Feature
“The place to swim. Look for the parking lot across from Acadia Mountain-there is a winding path down to the rocks! I would not take really small children here, as there is a drop off. I would take them to the beach!”
