“When Thomas Wolfe looked homeward, Asheville is the town he referenced. Wolfe grew up in this house, located downtown near many of the sites. His mother ran it as a boarding house and "Look Homeward Angel" proved to be his most popular work based on this house (and Asheville of course). The Riverside Cemetery is where the Wolfe clan is interred. Both are well worth a visit. ”
