Centre de Jakarta : sites touristiques et attractions

Musées d'histoire

“You cannot visit Jakarta and not visit the National Museum. Dating from 1862, it’s one of the best in the region with incredible ancient statues, Dayak puppets and a wealth of textiles. A new wing documents the origin of humankind in Indonesia over four floors and don’t miss the treasures of Central Java: a quite staggering collection of gold jewelry and trinkets. English language tours are free and run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 & 13:30 and are highly recommended if your Indonesian is a tad rusty.”

Sites historiques

Historic Site
“If you would like to see the historical place in Jakarta, I highly recommend this place for you to visit. There are museums, vintage restaurant, local street food, local street game and various entertainment from local people. You can also rent a bike called "sepeda onthel" which is very unique to stroll around kota tua. Nice!”

“The library has 'word' museum, albeit small, but very stunning. And the library (behind the museum) is good during workdays. On weekends it is very crowded by students working on their research.”

“The tallest library building in the world was officiated in September 2017. It has very good collection and facilities. You can also take good pictures from the building.”
