Vues pittoresques

Mountain
“⭐️ almost entirely surrounded by the city of Braşov ⭐️a story has it that there was a tunnel connecting Casa Sfatului with a cave under Șaua Tâmpei, ⭐️after Braşov was renamed Orașul Stalin (see List of places named after Stalin), the authorities started planting fir trees, so that the word "STALIN" would be clearly visible from the city.”

Scenic Lookout
“Can be reached from the old town via stairs (not for the faint of heart). Offers great panoramas over the old town. Two small towers keep watch over old Brasov from the Warthe hill on the northern side of the city: the so-called White and Black towers. While not identical (the white tower, above, is much larger) - were nevertheless built at the same time, late in the 15th century.”

“A tourist attraction where you will see one of the best preserved cities in Transylvania. The Râșnov Fortress is also called the Peasant Hill because here, the first and main occupation of the builders was agriculture. It dates from 1335 and has a simple architectural style that resembles that of ordinary houses, but retains its medieval air even after 500 years of existence.”
