“ the venue that started it all. It was the Ryman -- “the Mother Church of Country Music” -- that first started attracting names like Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, and George Jones, securing Nashville’s status as the American center of country music. The Ryman remains a country music mecca, but as one of the city’s most dazzling concert-going experiences, has also hosted everyone from the Foo Fighters to Janelle Monae. Even if you don’t make it to a concert, it’s at least worth taking the time for a brief tour. Check their homepage for concerts and dates.”

“Featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-In's & Dives," Mas Tacos makes the best authentic tacos in town. It's cash only, so don't forget to stop by the ATM! We love the pulled pork tacos, the tilapia tacos and the pozole, but everything on the menu is great!”

“Nashville is known for it's Hot Chicken, and Hattie B's is a great place to try it out. They have on-the-bone fried chicken or chicken tenders... but all of it is flavorful and delicious! If you generally like spicy food, "Hot!" is usually a good starting spot... try "Damn Hot!" or "Shut the Cluck Up!" at your own risk! This is the closest location, but parking is tough. If you're up for a bit of a longer drive, check out the locations on 8th and on Charlotte! ”
