“Sorelle and Co. is Toronto’s most indulgent and prettiest vegan cafe completely free of nuts, gluten, soy, sesame, and preservatives. Sorelle means “sister” in Italian, fitting as the entire concept was inspired by one mother’s struggles with raising five little girls with allergies. This bakery (conveniently located just below the building) offers the cutest and most scrumptious assortment of tiny desserts!”

Épicerie
“Our local grocery store. One of the cheaper grocery chains in Toronto - though there is normally excellent produce and selection of products here. This store also has a pharmacy. Remember a quarter (25 cents) in order to use a cart!”

“Bunner's Bake Shop has opened a new location in Kensington Market that I'm guessing is going to be more popular than the original in the Junction . There's something about Bunner's that seems particularly suited to the neighbourhood. Maybe the veganism or the fact that everything is gluten-free; maybe it's their style (a little Pitchfork twee- hello chalkboard paint and some kind of colourful shredded paper streamer garland).”

“If you like cupcakes, then you will LOVE this place! Their cupcakes are made fresh on premise and they are light and fluffy with a very generous frosting topping. So if sweet goodness isn't your thing, then don't come here! :-) Check out their featured cupcake flavours in addition to the staples like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and lemon.”

“Hidden within the Momofuku restaurant, up a set of stairs and within a glass, refrigerated space, is Milk Bar. Here you'll find a unique selection of cookies (including gluten-free) like the compost cookie (pretzels, graham crackers, chips, butterscotch and chocolate, and more,) blueberry and cream, and confetti cookies among others. They even have cake truffles! Definitely a must try for those with a sweet tooth.”
