“Hike approximately 1 mile and see the second largest living tree in the state of Georgia! A beautiful and mighty Gennett Poplar (hike is 2 miles total, 1 mile to the tree, 1 mile back to the car). Note: road is gravel but maintained, just take caution!”

“A hiking and biking trail system 17 miles in length and open year-round. From the start of Aska Road in Blue Ridge go 4.4 miles to the trailhead for the Deep Gap portion of the Aska Trails. Other trailheads are located 1.5 miles from Deep Gap on Shady Falls Road and another is up Stanley Creek Road 4.1 miles at Stanley Gap (Toccoa River Restaurant on left). Trails range from 2 to 5.5 miles and are open all year. Except for the Long Branch Loop the trails are not recommended for novices. Parking lot - N 34°48.995' W084°17.989'”

“The most popular of the waterfalls in Fannin County is Long Creek Falls, which can be seen by hiking down a short side trail from the combined Appalachian/Benton MacKaye Trail. These falls total about 50 feet in two distinct drops. A leisurely 30 minute hike to the falls is uphill on the way in, downhill on the way out.”

“A great place to fish, quail hunt, shoot sporting clays This North Georgia mountain spot is no secret it's just great. Guided fishing for rainbow & brown trout. Guided quail hunts with excellent pointer dogs. Guided black bear hunts. A mountain side 12 station sporting clays course. Summer time 3-D archery course. If you want to enjoy what North Georgia offers the shooter/archer this is the place!!”
