I will welcome you in my home in the design district, Punavuori. The plan for the evening is to create together a traditional Finnish meal consisting of a starter, a main course and dessert. You will get your hands dirty with peeling, chopping and kneading. Sounds like a lot? Finns like to keep things uncomplicated in all aspects of life - including cooking - so we will finish prepping on time. We will start the walk from Holiday Inn hotel, close to central station. During two hours, we will walk through the most majestic and off-the-beat scenic and photographic spots in Helsinki. We will also visit famous touristy spots, but with a twist as we will see and capture them from some unusual yet extremely photogenic angles. Chase the Northern Lights on a 4-hour evening safari in famous Lake Inari. Experince the frozen lakeside by travelling in a sledge pulled by snowmobile and enjoy dinner in our Aurora Island. You can come to our basecamp in the center of Ivalo, or if needed we can pick you up from the center area of Ivalo. You will get warm thermal clothes and shoes, then head on to the small village of Koppelo, far from the city lights. Take a seat in your sled and travel deeper into the wilderness with your local guide. Comfortable snowmobile-pulled sleigh is covered by warming reindeer hide and you can enjoy the ride to the frozen lakeside. In the lake we will take a break in the silent beauty of the wilderness. If you are lucky, you might see the Northern Lights in the middle of the lake. You will visit our small island where is a traditional wooden cottage and teepees. We live in the island with my husband, we have there wind and solar energy. If you are interested I am happy to tell about our life in lapland, my family has been fishing and living here for generations. We have also two friendly reindeers in our island, so you can meet and feed them :) There you can relax and see if you are lucky enought to see the Northern Lights. We will prepare delicious dinner and hot drinks by a campfire. Dinner will be made of local fish or reindeer ( also vegetarian option possible ).

You will get warm thermal clothes and shoes in our basecamp in Ivalo. From there we continue to a small village called Koppelo. Snowmobile and sleigh is waiting for you there, the journey starts to our a secret ice fishing place. You can enjoy unique landscape while you travel in the comfort of a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile. When we have arrived to our fishing camp, we will give you instructions for Ice Fishing. You will receive your own fishing rod and you can start fishing in a true Lappish style. You will use either a worm or a maggot to catch the fish. After fishing you will visit our island where we live. In the island we have two friendly reindeers, you will get a change to meet them :) Lunch and hot drinks will be served in a warm lappish teepee by open fire. Lunch will be made of local reindeer meat or fish ( also vegetarion option). This is a great trip even if you are not so interested in fishing! You can ask for pick up service from other places like Inari-village, Saariselkä or Kakslauttanen.

Kayaking at Väliväylä river, near village of Kannuskoski. Maximum leght of journey is 8 kilometers. We will paddle through small rapids at Kyykoski. Route gives enough challenge and variable views to Finnish nature and summer life. (At high water we have to carry kayaks over biggest rapid) Different kind of routes available. Also bigger groups with canoes possible. Ask for more info. Day schedule: -Paddlers and kayaks to the starting point -Getting used to kayaks and paddling -Now we go! -500m first small rapid -1,5km last rapid and short break at Sulunkoski -4km Turn back point at Taikinakoski. Longer break and snacks. -6,5km Break Sulunkoski. 100meter carrying over two rapids -8km Back to starting point. It is possible to spend the evening at my property by grilling or having sauna. Ask also overnight staying options.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be eye to eye with a wolfdog, to befriend yourself with these stunning animals throughout an adventures day together? If this speaks to you, this unique lifetime experience is for you! After the first get-together and an introduction, you will follow Vállju to meet the Wolfdogs inside their enclosures, where you gain knowledge and start to befriend yourself with the different individuals. For lunch you will grill sausages over the bonfire. In the following highlight of the experience you can choose, either: To go on a long adventure hike (with snowshoes in winter if necessary) through the woods & swamps and see the behaviour of some of the Wolfdogs in a different surrounding & spend more time with them during the hike. Hiking is on of the best ways to get these beauties to know and to be in the middle of untouched nature. - OR - To spend additional time in the enclosures of Wolfland, if you are not that much of an outdoor person, but want to use the chance to spend more time with the Wolfdogs. We will be together discovering the majestic and medieval town of Porvoo on a 6,5 hour tour from Helsinki. This tour will include 2 hour bus ride to and from Helsinki to Finland's second oldest city. The city is situated around 50 kms east of Helsinki! In around 4 hours, we will explore the cute little town of Porvoo. While taking a walking tour through the cobbled Old Town of Porvoo, we will admire the 15th-century cathedral, old Town Hall and traditional red-painted store houses along the riverside. Continuing our journey from the old town, we will go to the mysterious castle, old railway station and soak in the picturesque and breath-taking view of Porvoo from the top. All through this, we will explore city's history, its origins and the people who shaped it. At the end of the tour, there will be some time to buy souvenirs at the quaint craft shops. During the tour, I will take pictures, which I can share with you after the tour.
