Cours de cuisine finlandaise à Helsinki
I will welcome you in my home in the design district, Punavuori. The plan for the evening is to create together a traditional Finnish meal consisting of a starter, a main course and dessert. You will get your hands dirty with peeling, chopping and kneading. Sounds like a lot? Finns like to keep things uncomplicated in all aspects of life - including cooking - so we will finish prepping on time. An example menu looks like: Lohikeitto (salmon soup) Lihapyörykät (Finnish meatballs) Korvapuusti (cinnamon rolls) THE MENU WILL CHANGE ACCORDING TO SEASON AND THE REQUEST OF GUESTS THAT SIGNED UP. While we are preparing dinner together, you will have the chance to learn about various exotic Nordic ingredients from the seas and forests exclusive to this region. At the dinner table we can then discuss the latest gossips of the Finnish gastro scene, and you can ask me for tips and recommendations where to eat next. You will also take home a printed version of the recipes with you, so you can share them with your friends and family when your vacation is over. I have vegetarian, vegan, lactose- and gluten-free menu options too. Just ask.

Forget those pre-scripted, crowded, boring touristy tours! In my walking tours, I use my creativity and knowledge to adjust the tour according to your interests and preferences, the group size and the weather conditions; so you will get the best of Helsinki. We will walk together in and around the city center, discovering Helsinki's secrets, learning its history, culture and traditions. Why do Helsinki people have picnic on top of graves? Which statue is the one that seagulls hate the most? Where did they bury thousands of bodies during the plague? Why is the largest Orthodox cathedral located in a Lutheran country? Where can you eat the best salmon soup of your life? Why Finnish people still cheer for the opponents of the Swedish national football team? How did a Finnish architect influence generations of American architects and skyscraper designs? Floorball nordique, sauna et vue sur mer

We start with a 15 minute introduction of the "rules" and orientation. This includes finding you the correct stick, left or right side. The game is played for 1 hour with my friends and contacts from over the years. Its easy to start and very fun. You play at your own fitness level and take breaks as you need or as the host advises. After the game we will have traditional Finnish sauna and then a coffee or drink at the cafe where you can ask questions or advice from the host about the game, the culture and neighbourhood for ideas what to do after the game. Other things to note The game is fun and the host very experienced and teaching the game and welcoming new players. The regular players are also international locals and are proud to share their national game with you.

Professional photoshoot in Helsinki
We meet near the main railway station or somewhere else in the city center. The place of the photoshoot depends on the weather conditions, the location is negotiated before a photoshoot. I know nice places in Helsinki, starting with the city center and finishing with natural areas. If you prefer the center, we can take photos in the park of Botanical garden, the Senate square, Katajanokka, or the Töölö and Eira neighbourhoods. However, if you want to get picturesque photos in the Nordic nature, we can take a walk on the Lauttasaari island or Suomenlinna island (a 20 min ferry trip). As a result, you’ll have 25-30 professionally edited photos within 14 days. Things to note: Before a photoshoot, I discuss outfits or, at least, colours of your clothes. It’s essential, because it affects the result. I send you examples of clothes that will perfectly suit for a shoot in the location of your choice. In the spring and summer season I don’t take photos in the midday, because of the harsh light. If you want to get beautiful and warm pictures it’s better to book a photoshoot after 19:00. We have a long light day in Finland at this season. If you need a photoshoot in the middle of the day, I’m open for discussion. Please, contact me for time outside the schedule. My main goal is that you get beautiful photos from mesmerising Helsinki, which will keep you warm with good memories.

Randonnée magique dans la forêt de Taiga
This day trip takes us off the beaten path to Liesjärvi national park, a breathtaking landscape carved by glaciers and shrouded by old-growth forest that will provide a magical setting to spend the day exploring nature. The park itself is a wonderful place for foraging wild foods such as blueberries, lingonberries, chanterelle and porcini mushrooms, and many more. As I have studied here in Finland as a wilderness guide, my passion lies in the knowledge of nature, so we will be stopping along our walk to talk about our surroundings, search for seasonal wild foods, and really enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this wild national park. For lunch, I will prepare a delicious campfire meal that typically includes smoked salmon soup, rye bread, blueberry pie, and coffee/tea. Please note that the specific lunch offerings may vary depending on the season and any dietary requirements. Extra info: We will have a bathroom break 25 minutes before entering the park. The walking trail is approx. 5 km and only requires a basic level of fitness and regular shoes. I can lend rain jackets and winter boots in winter. Committed to sustainability, this tour has the Sustainable Travel Finland label and the Green Activities certificate. We treat everyone in an equal manner and welcome you to join us for an adventure that contributes positively to the environment. Ask for other dates.

Visite d'Helsinki en tramway avec un ingénieur urbaniste
Helsinki; the city where things work, and public transportation is no exception. It works flawlessly and is ranked among the best, not just in Europe but in the world. Helsinki also has one of the oldest tram systems in the world that dates back to 1891! In the city center areas, trams are the first choice of the locals when it comes to transportation. For Helsinkians, the sound of the trams in the neighborhoods, especially during the silent nights, is a delightful and comforting thing. In this tour, we will visit various parts of this beautiful city that would not have tourist crowds and you will enjoy it like a local, by using the famous tram system of Helsinki. You will discover hidden locations that you wouldn’t find in standard tour itineraries; places full of secret parks, beautiful cafes and pubs, flea markets, great views and needless to say impressive architecture. In addition to all of these, you will get to keep your day ticket after the tour which is valid for 24 hours. We will have a beautiful route covering various neighborhoods: Kruununhaka, Punavuori, Eira, Ullanlinna, Kaartinkaupunki, Kamppi, Töölö. Other things to note: We'll use the trams but we'll also walk around 5 km during the tour so please dress according to weather. Please check out my bio to reach my website for various tours.
