“The hills near the cabin have enough talent to rival Etsy. More than 100 working studios fill the eight-mile long Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts community that basically encompasses the entire drive between the cabin and downtown Gatlinburg. So there's no excuse not to stop and check it out! These studios belong to weavers, potters, woodworkers, and painters whose family legacies predate the park.”

Ski Chairlift
“Neat place to visit. Has a chairlift to the top or now they have an open air truck also. The views are great and there are stories/historical walk with signs that tell about the fire that devastated the area. We love the swinging tree bridges, ziplines, mountain coaster, children's treehouse style play area, photo op props on top of the mountain, eating areas, fireplace, and so much more. Neat for families or a romantic date spot. ”

“Owned by The Peddler, this is their more casual dining restaurant. Same great food and service just in a more casual and wallet friendly setting. Overall, probably our favorite restaurant. One big plus is it's located at the end of the strip in Gatlinburg, so it's almost never any traffic getting to it. Plus it has it's own parking lot(in front and behind it) so no need to pay for parking.”
