Galerie d'art
“This place is run and owned by the Cultural Fund of Havana. You can stop in to enjoy the exhibited art, or you can buy decorative plates, ceramics, and jewelry. The jewelry selection is a bit high-end, but amazing—it’s hard to pick a favorite!”

Point of Interest
“Address: Obispo No.155, e/ Mercaderes y San Ignacio, Habana Vieja. Description: This townhouse was adapted in 1898 into a pharmacy by Francisco Taquechel. Restored and reopened in 1996, it functions as pharmacy and museum. Its collection includes 19th-century French porcelain apothecary’s jars and instruments found at excavation sites in the historical center of the city, including a century-old French porcelain water filter, a solar microscope and antique measuring pots. Check out the floor-to-ceiling cedar and mahogany shelves. The pharmacy sells several Cuban made natural products and other drugs.”

Restaurant
“Jumping into a niche still underrepresented in Havana, this casual sandwich shop beloved by locals makes up savory snacks as you wait in a space barely big enough to swing a small kitten. A classic 'Cuban' (ham, cheese, pork and pickles) goes for a giveaway CUC$2.”

Store
“It is incredible that this pharmacy not only has survived but is still in use today. Worth visiting on a walk about in the centre of Havana. The double storey shelving is full of old pharmacy jars and there are other historic items on displays such as scales, microscope and an old prescription book.”
