Parc
“Petrifying Springs Park is the flagship of Kenosha County Parks. Known to locals as “Pets,” this park is the oldest in the system and offers a wide range of enjoyment for people of all ages throughout the year. The rolling landscape adds beauty as well as challenge to its 18-hole golf course. Home to one of the State’s natural hardwood forests, the fall color in both the park and on the golf course is breathtaking.”

Diner
$
“This restaurant is features on national lists for best diners. It's an old rail car transformed into diner. The wait can be long, and you stand in tight space while you wait. But it's always worth it and they never rush you out. The staff is purposely rude..."Order what you want, eat what you get," kind of vibe. They are known for their garbage plate (always ask for jalapenos to be added...the best! and choose the homemade toast with it.) Pancakes are the size of your head and can feed the whole table. Don't wear your favorite coat as you will need to air out your clothing afterwards (has that tight quarters greasy smell)....but some of you know exactly how good the food will be just by hearing that. ”
