“South Ken is bursting with amazing museums. The V&A is hard to beat (for grown ups). It's free to get in and on a sunny day there are few nicer places to eat than in its central courtyard. It's a 40 minute walk over Albert Bridge and through South Ken (or a 15 minute bus ride - 49 or 345). ”

Point of Interest
“Built to mark London's millennium celebrations in 2000, the London Eye is Europe's largest observation wheel. Its individual glass capsules offer the most spectacular views of the city as you embark on a circular tour rising 443 feet above the Thames. The journey lasts 30 minutes, often quicker than the time spent lining up for your turn. If you can, reserve your time in advance. The best option is to skip the line completely with a London Eye: Skip-the-Line Ticket. This advance ticket allows you to take a flight at any time on the day you plan to visit. Address: Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Rd, London”

Parc
“This is lovely in summer and has great views over London from Parliament Hill. You can even go swimming in the ponds there. Easiest way to get there is by Overground and you can take the Brondesbury stop which is right around the corner. It's just 3 stops. When you come out, turn to your right and go up the hill (S Hill Park) which forks left becoming Parliament Hill. Go up there and it takes you into the park and it's a short climb to the top of the hill where you'll get some pretty breathtaking views. ”
